We have received hints & suggestions from our users to make better use of Object Activator:

Always use different input&output files/directories.  If you do so, you will never lose your original files.
Object Activator ONLY converts files with objects.  If you use different input&output directories, you will find only the converted files in your destination directory...  Files without object-tags are NOT processed or copied!  You can change this behaviour when you check the option: Copy ALL web-files to destination.
Upload your original files and thereafter, upload the converted files and the scriptfiles...  If you always work with this procedure, you can be sure that your site is OK after conversion...
Never use unterminated strings in your object tags.  Object Activator doesn't process these strings: they are aborted at the end of the line.
Keep in mind, that you can't use Object Activator on a file that is already processed.  It's necessary to start always with the original html-files.
Don't use Object Activator on files where the objects are already activated.  It is possible that you will have nested function-calls, that give errors in your browser if you do so.
And most important: Check your web-files in your browser before uploading: if you see your objects, conversion was OK!
