Object Activator is a tool for webdesigners and webprogrammers.
Object Activator converts your webpages to support an important upcoming ActiveX activation update from Microsoft. This update could have far reaching consequences for everyone using multimedia or active content inside their webpage. Once installed, this update will affect all current Internet Explorer users and is included in the upcoming IE7 release. Microsoft has made dramatic changes to the way ActiveX functions inside web browsers and if you wish your users viewing experience to remain the same, we strongly suggest that you re-publish your websites after processing with Object Activator. These are examples of ActiveX controls:
| • | Adobe Reader |
| • | Apple QuickTime Player |
| • | Macromedia Flash Player |
| • | Microsoft Windows Media Player |
| • | Real Networks RealPlayer |
When your objects are not activated with Object Activator, you will see this message every time an object is called from your web code:
click to activate and use this control |
You must click on the controls, before the ActiveX controls become active!
